چکیده

Background: Diabetic foot ulcer is a well-documented complication of uncontrolled diabetes and its association with the variables involved in Diabetes like FBS, RBS HBA1C has been thoroughly researched. This research aims to identify diabetic under Wagner classification classes. Objectives were determine severity at various level association. Methods: A observational cross-sectional study 160 patients who after giving consent filled questionnaires. The information was analyzed using SPSS v26 (IBM) through Chi Square test. results tabulated inferred from. Results: included Sample size Patients. Correlation between glycated haemoglobin levels and random blood glucose.

BACKGROUND Glycated haemoglobin or glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1c) is a form of haemoglobin that is measured primarily to identify the average plasma glucose concentration over prolonged periods of time. Levels of HbA1c represent the average blood glucose levels of diabetic patients over the previous 120 days. The objective of this study was to see the correlation between HbA1c levels and rand...

Glycated Haemoglobin: A Predictor of Vascular Risk?

Glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c), a marker of average glycaemia during the previous six to eight weeks, is a predictor of microvascular complications in diabetic individuals. However, the role of HbA1c as a predictor of macrovascular complications (e.g. myocardial infarction or stroke) in these patients is not clearly defined. In contrast, new evidence suggests that HbA1c can predict the risk of ca...

Artifactually low glycated haemoglobin in a patient with severe hypertriglyceridaemia.

This report describes a case of artifactually low glycated haemoglobin (Hb) in a patient with type II diabetes and severe hypertriglyceridaemia. The effect of hypertriglyceridaemia on glycated Hb determination using the Abbott Vision method was investigated in a series of patients with diabetes. The interference of triglycerides in glycated Hb assays was also investigated by two other methods, ...

Correlation between fasting plasma glucose, post prandial glucose and glycated haemoglobin and fructosamine.

This study was done to determine the correlation between glucose monitoring by fasting blood glucose or 2 hours postprandial blood glucose with HbA1c and fructosamine in type 2 diabetic patients. A total of 82 patients from the Primary Care Clinic were enrolled in the study. Fasting blood was drawn for fasting plasma glucose (FPG), glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) and fructosamine. Two hours after ...
